The coast between Castro and Grosseto has several easily accessible beaches, including Capalbio, Ansedonia, the Feniglia and the Giannella (on either side of the lagoon at Orbetello), Talamone, and Marina di Alberese in the heart of the the Nature Reserve of the Parco dell’Uccellina. The seaside harbours of Port’Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano have ferry services and excursions to the islands of Giglio and Giannutri. Boats for hire and diving equipment are also available here, for daily trips along the coast of the Monte Argentario.
